Landscapes between ID and NV

Beautiful by Eminem

I remember Mom always talking about other people's lives, and how she wondered what they went through. Also it's a good song that talks about not worrying about what other people think about you. We should be the best person we can be, and be 'one tough act to follow.'

Great Salt Lake City Temple View

It's hard to see in the picture, but from this hill you can see four different temples in and around Salt Lake City.

Blog Revived..

Ok, so I know I'm way behind.. But here are some pictures from being in Salt Lake anyway. I only had my phone camera, so they aren't the best, but they're fine. For some reason I was always pointing the camera away from the people, and towards some "view." So I guess I can't show how the people from Mexico City wore thick jackets and scarves in the middle of July.. Or how the Japan kids really do have seperated spiky hair.. Or how the Russians used sooo much hair gel, they could walk through a monsoon and still look fresh from the catwalk.. Crap, but it's ok..

Next week is Mother's Day right??? Oh who cares, everyday should be Mother's day.

I think we all know how true this is and how grateful and blessed we are to have the Mom we do. She's done so much for us over the years.
-Cleaned up our messes all growing up (Another spill, WHY!?)
-Kept our house "immaculately" clean, and oh so stylish (Think "Focal Point")
-Always had good food on the table (Pass the enchiladas!!!!!!!!!! ...Please)
-Got us to finish high school (Just do the math, come on, you're almost done)
-Bought us things we really didn't need (Are you SURE you want Hamster-leg Barbie???)
-Taught us the important things (Let's read scriptures. Be nice to -enter name here-)
-Let go of the unimportant stuff (Just don't ride with Maya on a leash ever again)
The list goes on. I know we all think it and just never get around to finding the right time to bring it up. Here's to Momma and AAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the everyday things she does for us. We love you!

A Father Indeed

I thought this one was really neat. I've always been worried that if I had kids or adopted them-they would be handicapped. I used to pray that they wouldn't be, but I guess I really would like them either way. I use to think that it'd hold a family back, but I guess it only holds you back as much as you let it. They're people too and they aren't helpless-even if they are. God wouldn't put someone on the Earth that didn't have a reason for being here. So this movie gave me great comfort and made me think that I could handle taking care of someone who is handicapped.

Funny-for laughs!! Dr.Tran

Funny movie found just messing around on the internet.. I watched a couple others of Dr. Tran and they're not clean so we didn't finish watching them, but this one is Family Approved!! By the Family Approved Services..

What happens when the law of gravity+the law of inertia+steep concrete hill of the apocalypse meet up?

So I found this awesome hill with a sidewalk. My friend Kate, my skateboard, and I wanted to say hellooooo. Um, so I made it (kinda) down the hill a few times, but aborted halfway down. Anyway, so finally I committed to my death. It was fun. I actually rolled down most of the hill, and my shoe flew off. Some old lady was cackling her lung onto her front porch. "That's why I don't skateboard!" she yelled at me. I wanted to be like OH! I thought it was because you were 93 years old and can barely walk! But I go to LDSBC, so I had to be a good example. I said heh, and walked back up the hill. I went down a couple more times and abandoned ship again and again. Then I committed and went dooooooown. Then I stopped, but it's all good. I can still eat through a tube faster than mouthy old grandma over there!!!

Day after the "incident" we don't discuss.

The day of the accident.
